What Is the Difference Between Intrinsic and Extrinsic Change?
So we need to talk about intrinsic and extrinsic change. So how do we define those terms? Yes. We can say that something intrinsically changes when it gains or loses one or more intrinsic features. And by feature, i just mean like some kind of something with positive ontological status. Now, defining intrinsic and Extrinsic is a matter of controversy but we can make due with the following classic statement from David lewis.
