Christian Inroads in Greenland
A church built out of earth has been found near the main viking settlement with a churchyard with over one hundred burials so at least some significant portion of the settlers in that area embraced christianity pretty early on. Greenland had a period of flourishing it seems 11th and 12th centuries but then it went into gradual decline through the late middle ages we don't know exactly why maybe because of climatic cooling and advancing glaciers on the landmass.
