The Egyptian Uprising of 1977

19 77 uprising marked the high point of egypt's post 19 68 struggles, as hossan points out. However, those struggles were inseparable from the broader post 19 68 rebellions, both within the region and global. The revolt was crushed after two days, and roughly more than 70 people were killed,. But again, was this rev happening out of the blue? No. It was preceded by an entire decade of struggles. Did that uprising happen within ariginal and global vacuum? No.
