And then we got mixed conditionals and a mixed conditional could be a combination between a third and a second conditional. So it could be for example a hypothetical past action with a present result which would be if he'd been more careful he'd be alive today. That's talking about the past is talking about a present consequence so it's a mixed conditional. The fact is that he wasn't careful he got bitten. It's his fault."
