Learning a Black Box Function
The geometry in the images of all the images from the real world is what learning does for you. It pulls out something that is essential about real images, physics from physics. The original perceptron could only do a linearly several functions. Frank Rosenblatt's perceptron can now solve more complex problems by adding random features to it. This is called the Johnson-Linnens-Strouse theorem.
