i think the book does a really good job of giving us those insights that we might not otherwise see unless we're really kind of looking for them. As you say, there's a bit more of this kind of telash t, this critical thinking about tech, going on to day. But it still is, i think, a minority view in most of the kind of reporting and writing about technology. Yes, i think it's definitely gaining a critical mass. And just a few years ago, just last year, the idea of regulating the tech industry was still far off.

Paris Marx is joined by Mar Hicks to discuss why we need to know the history of tech and how the British history of sexism and colonialism in computing has lessons for the present-day US tech industry.
