The Realm of the Hungry Ghosts

In Tibetan Buddhism people cycle through six realms. Each represents really different states That we all know The realm of the hungry ghosts As creatures depicted with large empty bellies Tiny or narrow scrawny necks And very narrow gullets So they have these largeempty bellies But they're in small mouths They're in capable of filling that emptiness And that's the realm of the addict Wow and my contention is as I say in the book We are in a hungry ghost realm To escape the hell realm Of unbearable emotions We are actually stuffing it down all the time Trying to get something from the outside To deal with what's unbearableAnd so that's what the image comes from Thanks That's beautiful Thank you thank you
