But so that's an obvious sense in which that could be true, if abiogenesis is rare and lucky. Yes. Another important consideration in your mind is that our current rate of technological progress is much faster than it was in the past. And also it seems like it ismuch faster than it can be in the distant future as well. Thats already happened. We'd think also that it's front loaded, because sometimes you hit a physical limit. You can't send signals faster than light.
