The Importance of Accountability in Museums
Rodrigo Perez-Ottega: There's this awareness now on the amount for accountability in museums and other institutions. A lot of these collections are no longer accessible for researchers unless there's a clear ethical reason, he says. The meter did return as coal that belonged to an Australian soldier when the Australian Navy requested it,. But it came from the descendants, not the museum itself; I think there needs to be work there.
