What Did You Learn About Hope From the Chimpanzees?
We've got to take better care of our own minds. And a very obvious way is is being in nature. It's my favorite thing to watch my kids in the sea. Adi will go looking for crabs for hours. Also, we mustn't forget that we can have that experience as adults. I don't know how animals feel hope, but some cats mow and rub against your leg because they're hoping you'll feed them. So the chimps obviously have the same sort of feelings. They're like us in so many ways. But i surely wouldn't have done that if i hadn't hoped that i could succeed.
