The Importance of Accepting Elijah

John the Baptist is a prophet like Elijah. He's not back from heaven and reincarnated, but as we read in Luke chapter one, he comes in the spirit and power of Elijah. In some ways, Elijah has been replaced in the hierarchy of prophets by John who has come looking like Elijah, sometimes sounding like Elijah. So you can almost say Elijah did die, but only when John died.
