We want to be able to tolerate an increase in our blood sugar and have a healthy insulin response. Eating protein rich foods first before you eat the carbohydrate rich food is a great way to reduce that. The second one is experimenting with the amount of carbs that you're eating. Each person's going to be unique with this, right? There's no perfect amount for everyone.
