Even though these veterans the black community has less of a grant rate they actually are overrepresented in in the number of veterans that do get benefitsBlack veterans who get these benefits apply to much higher rate shock so the stats are kind of confusing but at the end of the day black veterans have a harder time getting the same benefits that their white counterparts get still today.
