What's Your Day-to-Day Work as a Tolkien Archivist?
Tolkien 2019 is being held at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Tolkien archive there contains 9,250 pages of manuscript material for the Lord of the Rings. In his role as an archivist, Peter Crouch says he spends most of his time working on projects related to that collection. He also works with researchers who come to do their own research and finds it hard not to check his email all day.
