How does long-term liabilities like carbon being emitted interact with something like a rule against perpetuities as well? Could you keep a corporation on the hook for horizontal stacking for centuries? Is that even legal? States are loosening up around that. You have lifetime and legacy trusts. There are a lot of different ways to work in and around the rule against perpetuity. So I don't think that that actually would prevent you. It's more that generally the rule against perpetuatements, you're passing along wealth to somebody. In a corporation, this is a liability if you think about emission reduction. And so it's not maybe something that they would want to continue if they weren't forced
