Open Source Is Critical to Building a Big Business
Neverway started with a closed source, no license, it was just closed. And then we opened it up once we had our licensing strategy. The primary reason that we open sourced our code was to protect ourselves against coercion from potential antagonist. We didn't necessarily view the open source as a necessity to build great software and a big business. But we felt that it was better.
