Is Micro Front End Really a Micro Service Micro System?

A micro front end divides a larger application into multiple smaller independent applications. American Express says they have over 300 modules or micro front ends are currently in use in production today. But the big question is, you know, should you do this, does this work? And I think one of the first ways to analyze this is to look at who is using this approach today.
