The Welsh Triads - A History of Celtic Folklore and Witchcraft
After the life of gil as in the 12 hundreds, a further sort of compendium of folk stories was written down. The welsh triads include short summaries and references to stories that somehow involve arthur kay and bedevere. And i would argue it shows this sort of continuing shamonic background. It seems that there was some kind of folk belief that arthur was not dead, but indefinitely asleep in a cave. But something similar was also circulating in cornwall, that region further to the south, at the far southwestern edge of britain.
