Is There a Problem With the Scottish Parliament's Plan to Have a Referendum?
The Scottish public would be perhaps the most offended where they'd say that you can't. It's not fair to take my vote for my local MP or MSP and effectively misrepresent it in that way. I want you to represent me at a local or national level, but I'm not keen on independence. Actually, this would cause a whole load of unintended consequences between the party's relationship with its own public and some of its own supporters. But if it's set out in the manifesto then everyone knows what they're voting for.
