The Importance of Intimacy
I never feel like people are watching me. If you brought in 30 people into my studio and lined them up while I painted, I couldn't do that. Couldn't even do it with one person in there. Do you find it easier to take risks if you think it's not going to be seen? I'm not sure I do. In fact, I film that as part of teaching to take risks. That's the thing. Like we all have. It's interesting about this intimacy. Yes, there is something in it, definitely the preservation of intimacy, but where and it does it have to be completely in entirety?"
