Maddie's Story About the Ouija Board

Doctors tell investigators they're certain that Maddie shot her father in the back while she was standing and aiming. After six weeks, he dies as a result of his injury. Dorothea is sentenced to 20 years in prison for her part in the murder. She serves two years, appeals her sentence, gets a new trial, and miraculously her conviction is overturned after two years.
