Double Thresholds and Lactate Clearance

Double thresholds are a little less common because they are so risky. Steady after workouts use pretty consistently for everybody. You're not producing quite as much lactate because usually the effort is a little bit lower. But you're also getting the eccentric muscle contractions that go along with that.
