The Causes of Recessions
The general principle behind recessions is that the aggregate demand for products and services drops. The RBA has been using monetary policy to try and steer the economy as much as possible. But at the time of recording this episode, the RBA rates are around 2.35%. Almost certainly by the time this is, we're going to be up in the 3%. I'll be very surprised if not of the cash rate.
