What's Your Punchline for Anti-Fungal Susceptibility Testing?
The host immune status is probably gonna be the major determinant of whether or not you're gonna have a successful response. What are drug drug interactions that might limit what anti-fungals you can use? Are the patients having adverse effects and therefore being a non-adherent to their medication regimen? So don't fixate on the MIC. You have to look at the patient from a holistic standpoint and use all factors in order to make decisions.
