The Servant Leader Is a Cross-Bearer

The cross is not just a reminder of our own brokenness and our desperate need for God, but it is also the very door of hope by which we enter into resurrection life. The servant leader is a cross-bearer because there is no resurrection without the cross. We must forever exercise what it means to live before the world in the posture of the sacrificial lamb. That we need to allow ourselves to be killed, if you will, for Jesus again and again and again.
