Once you understand the meaning, you gain this deeper appreciation and the words start to make more sense. Sometimes there were songs that I didn't like so much at first, musically speaking. But then when I looked into the lyrics and learned what the message was, then, wow, I mean, these lyrics are great. This message is great. It's about going that extra layer deeper.
