The Sad Lesson of China

Many left liberals believe that sooner or later, after some periods of authoritarian rule, capitalism brings democracy. So it's absolutely hypocritical, I claim, here I even agree with Chinese communists, although they are corrupt and so on. We tend to forget that this idea of natural coexistence of capitalism and democracy is not natural at all.
