I was very pleased that your last kind of what-should-you-do thing point was to invest in the stock market, boringly. I think one version of boringly is just like not stop picking and trying to be too clever. But the other is to favour companies that are more boring. And so I think, again, in a higher interest rate environment, suddenly earnings seem more important than most today.
