The term big data describes the incredible amount of data, predominantly about individuals. It is continuously being gathered from nearly every electronic gadget that exists in our world today. Even your damn vacuum. Most people think, I don't care if anyone knows when I have a cup of coffee, but you should. How do we even start to illustrate the catastrophic nature of all this data collection?
