The Hard Questions About AI
AI is a research field that's been active for around about 70 years. Despite 70 years of work, there isn't really any agreement on exactly what AI is. For me, mostly what AI is about are getting computers to do things which currently require human beings. We don't think of those things as requiring intelligence, but getting computers to doing them is very hard.
