CHAPTER

The Paradox of Unity

In the Tower of Babel, it's that instead of the tree of life, it's a unified language. In parallel to the idea of being connected to a source of all life, is this parallel idea of being unified in such a way where you can accomplish and multiply rapidly. And as we meditate on the parallel to fall of Adam and Eve, God puts them out of the garden. He prevents them from living forever in a state of defining good and bad by limited distorted human wisdom. But if its foundation is in twisted human desire to redefine good and bad and to rule over the universe, oh man, they could do anything and that would not be good in the state.
