Companies need to assess whether venture arm is helping them develop the kind of capabilities or other strategic benefits that you just described. Companies value the fact that CVCs can allow them to drive better market insight, better visibility and all kinds of disruption. Even if the fund might only have a return of a few percent financially, they say we have now access to a much bigger total addressable market.
