The Story of Bill Russell

Pandavas Harshaw met Bill Russell in 2011 at an event in Oakland organized to honor him. He says the basketball player had a tremendous growth spurt while in high school, and that's the thing that led to him moving from junior varsity to team mascot. Pandavas: Just knowing Bill Russell at the time that he was at school, he went to school with people like Frank Robinson, who was the first African-American coach or skipper.
