I think when deciding not to treat them or not to see them, the guilt that comes with it is difficult sometimes. The people pleasing side of myself can be really, really tough for me to cope with. We try and see as many patients as we can. I have to be cognizant of how our team feels as well too because we have lost staff due to burnout. It's one more day if a patient has a ton of pain, that's one more days of pain that they kind of have to deal with.
