There are multiple other near misses in the search. Later research would indicate this was probably an ancient version of a warehouse. Somebody could have been in the gardens and you know, dropped their tablet. I just don't think it's possible that they missed the hanging gardens. It could be under the Euphrates but there's some weird stuff there because when Babylon was conquered,. The Euphrates River was diverted away from the city for a time.
