The Importance of False Positive Control in fMRI

In neurosurgery, we are mostly afraid of false negatives. We don't want to set a claim that this area is involved in whatever processing and then it turns out there was no activation at all. And if you look at the fMRI literature, what people still do is report false positive probabilities. This is not the question you want to ask in the claim context.
