One factor that i think isn't discussed often enough is the feelings of guilt and pressure that inheritors often feel for the advantages that they received in life. I mean, it's really real ive in our world, in our industry, those feelings of shame and guilt can really interfere with some one's happiness in life for many, many years. So i think it's really critical for inheritors to understand how to process all that. And my book sort of goes into that alot. Covie is a Partner and the Chief Wealth Advisory Officer at Ballentine Partners where she is responsible for the development and management of the firm’s family education, family governance, and philanthropic offerings. Covie also leads several of the firm’s large family client engagements and specialises in helping her clients manage the impact of their wealth and ensure that their wealth management strategy reflects their families’ values and goals.
