The Death of Kudyin
In 1301, when Kudyin was 41 years old, her dad died. He still picked her above all other warriors above his 14 other sons against culture's traditions. Her brothers didn't allow it and ultimately a warrior named Duwah was named Khan in her place. "It just says we don't know the circumstances surrounding her death," she said.
