Did the Stuka Dive Bombing Attack Really Work?
Stuka pilots had to work out where the wind direction of their target was. They would then have to fly around and look for ground signs, you know, smoke from railway engines or chimneys. The aircraft also had a little warning horn that told the pilot when to release the bomb. But certainly it took an awful lot of courage and there's no doubt about that.
