Dr. Mandini Jod was basically sort of, I guess you could say a return back to normality in Iran. He had such significant roles in the Supreme National Security Council who said that as long as the economy is also kind of work is spinning, we need adults in the room again. And many people didn't think he would actually win because of Ahmad Njal's two terms. But it seems that Khamenei himself was very, very aware that there was a need to sort of solve the nuclear impasse and this would be needed for economic stability and such.
