I can't imagine vampir being cleaner than in its current form. So much of the image is already diffuse and elidi. I do want it to retain its fogginess. Dryas landscape, it serves to convert it into a kind of dream scape. There are images from this film that will sort of stay with you forever after you've seen it. The thing that comes closest in my head is an early play station version of silent hill. You're coming up against a wall of fog.
