The first time i went into engiing leadership was at a start up, an phoenix. That's the one where the head of enginerng at the time was not doing it well. So that was like my main motivation. I don'think there as ego involved at that time. Later on, more in like, probably the horoc days, and definitely in the geup days, there was some ego involved. And not in the ego in the negative sense here, which is, i started to realize that i could probably be all time good at this job.
