The Importance of Reading the Bible

Dan: I don't think there's been a really good, outstanding new translation of the New Testament like we have with Robert Alter's Hebrew Bible. So if you want to learn very little about what the Bible actually says, I definitely recommend checking out the message. It is a version that I stumbled on when I was looking at different versions of the Lord's Prayer and find the Lord's prayer in the message. But yeah, you won't be enlightened in terms of what the Bibleactually is all about, but it's a lot of fun.
