The Big Four Artificial Sweeteners
Aspartame is approximately 200 times sweeter than sugar. Sucrose-loce is the most potent of all the major artificial sweeteners. Togatose, also known by the brand name Nutri-loce, is based on lactose, the sugar found in milk. Stevia is derived from the Stevia plant in South America. Sugar alcohols do not contain any ethanol and have nothing to do with alcoholic beverages. There appears to be no evidence of any link to cancer, which is what tests are looking for.
