How to Preach Mark 16 and John 8

There are two texts that sometimes people would have extra questions about. The question would basically be, are they part of Scripture? And I think those are two pretty different examples. There's no early manuscript evidence for the longer ending of Mark's gospel. So when I preach through Mark, I just finish with Mark 16 verse 8 and then the next one was another topic.
