The 80-20 Relationship Between Proactive and Reactive Work

In my dream situation, about 80% of the work we're doing is proactive. It's work that we have discovered a need to be done. We can very crisply identify what things we're working on that are part of those big initiatives tied to the four business units. So it's this holistic relationship of getting them from that fuzzy state and starting to ideate and test out solutions.
