The Tendency to View Race as the Case for Equity

I think that there's people that have done a very bad job of politicizing that legacy in a way that unfortunately makes you kind of look at everything a bit cock-eyed. But I don't think that when the Baki case came in front of the court in 1978 or the, what was the name of it, that we didn't view race the way that we did. It's not a uniquely American thing and you don't also need that sort of people that came to France as slaves. There's rioting in France. I'm probably the worst rioting seen since the mid-2000s.
