Rehabilitation Counselors - What Is Your Role?
Sally Kohn worked as a rehabilitation specialist counselor for 25 years. She says her job was to help people who had been disenfranchised or pushed away by society through stigma, such as mental illness and homelessness. But in 2012 she found herself without the social support she'd built up over 10 years of working with others. "I became a diva of how do I get somebody connected?" asks Kohn.
