The way migration is talked about, the way human movement is talked about is actually incredibly toxic. We need to take a long hard look at that, but also we need to understand that people moving is not an inherently bad thing and it's not morally wrong. But this nationalism that has been stoked basically by populist leaders is really damaging. It's damaging to our economies. It's damages to our societies. And it's actually ultimately going to, and is already causing the deaths of thousands of people.
