How Did You Become Like Bad Ass Reading Science Advocates?
Lori, Melissa and Carrie: Tell us a little bit about yourselves. How did you become these like bad ass reading science advocates? And hopefully we can share what we learned so that more folks can advocate and improve literacy in their communities too. LZ: I ran for the House of Delegates because I'm passionate about public education. The first year there I worked on having a shift away from high states testing to moving towards more group measurements. That started with that legislation working with UVA law school public policy clinic.
